Tousled - adj, (of hair) untidy.
When choosing this name to represent us, it didn’t mean that our styling techniques were going to be untidy; it just meant that they weren’t going to be perfect.
We don’t do sleek, cookie-cutter styling. We like a little wild, a little messy, a little lived in - but created with an expert approach.
I have two passions in life - bridal hair & dogs. I haven’t quite figured out how to incorporate the two, but once I find a way, you’ll be the first to know!
My journey really started back in 2014 when I found myself practicing on mannequin heads non-stop during my down time at the salon I was working at. Styling came so naturally to me and I knew I needed to put it to good use. After a few years of throwing the idea around, I finally took the leap in 2017, quit my job, and started Tousled Beauty Co. Best.Decision.Ever.
My reason for loving hairstyling so much is because it’s totally customizable, so no two looks will ever be the same. Your wedding day look should be an extension of who you are and our goal is to make sure that’s achieved with each and every bride. Perfectly-imperfect styling is what we do at Tousled Beauty Co, and we encourage you to be your wild & perfectly-imperfect self.

I am married to my best friend, Zach, who is my biggest fan & supporter. He’s game for all of my shenanigans and crazy ideas, but is also my voice of reasoning. He’s the calm to my crazy and I love the balance that our marriage embodies. I could go on for days about how lucky I am to have this man, but this will do for now.
I have a deep love for traveling and I thrive on adventure. I am the spontaneous friend who is up for anything and I don’t believe that will ever change. I love to have fun & laughing really is the cure-all. Hiking, boating, trying new food joints, & camping are just a few of my favorite things. I’m an introverted extrovert - or extroverted introvert (which is it?), that loves social events but might just love a night in, even more. My plant babies are 2nd in line to my animal babies. I love the outdoors but hate bugs. I am a PCOS advocate. Storm chasing is at the top of my bucket list (like a legit storm chasing experience). I quit caffeinated coffee years ago and somehow have more energy because of it. If I wasn’t doing wedding hair, I would absolutely be a veterinarian, rehabilitating the wildlife.
